We've broken ground for our new facility on the grounds of the Autobahn Country Club in Joliet, IL. Havoc Motorsport will occupy the first floor with Harry Miller Appliances & Coin-O-Matic occupying the Hospitality Suite. We have spent a lot of time designing this project with Ian McDonnell (our architect) to be a state of the art trackside race shop. This facility will add to the services and resources available to Havoc Motorsport's customers.
The Coors Lite silver bullet C-Sports Racer shot down it's 1st SCCA National victory of 2010 at Heartland Park of Topeka on May 2nd, 2010. The 2009 Runoffs Champion C Sports Racer is now owned and driven by the veteran roadracer and June Sprints Champion, Dudley Fleck, yet still engineered by Havoc Motorsport this season. Dudley Fleck scored a flawless victory in his debut in this car. Fleck's post-race interview was brief...Fleck, the Cedar Rapids driver, stated "Awesome car..." This is the sixth victory of Havoc Motorsport's supported racecars in the 2010 season, including Ken DeNault and Bill Allman. Let us build a winner for you! Havoc Motorsport prepped and Race Tire USA associated vehicles sweep the podium at the prestigious Chicago Auto Show. Of the vehicles displayed at the Auto Show by Havoc this year are a SCCA National Runoffs Champion Élan Miller Mazda MZR 2.0 C Sports Racer, a Swift 016A Formula Atlantic, and a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X MR. The Chicago Auto Show is held at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL from Friday, February 12th to Sunday, February 21, 2010. First staged in 1901, the Chicago Auto Show is the largest auto show in North America and has been held more times than any other auto exposition on the continent. This year marks the 102nd edition of the Chicago Auto Show. The Chicago Auto Show utilizes 1.3 million square feet of the McCormick Place complex and sees traditionally over one million spectators. This is a huge media event covered by print, radio, internet and television worldwide.
ELKHART LAKE, Wis. (Sept. 25, 2009)- Matt Miller became the National Champion in C Sports Racing, during his first invitation to the 2009 SCCA National Championship Runoffs. This year’s National Championship Runoffs were held at Road America. C- Sport racing was the fastest category in the Olympics of Road Racing.
Matt Miller competes in an Elan Mazda MZR 2.0 C Sports Racer, sponsored by Harry Miller Appliances from Alsip, IL. He qualified on the outside pole, but he took first place from flag to flag for the fifty-two mile race.
This season, Miller’s car was prepped, crewed and engineered by Jody Lift, of Havoc Motorsport. Havoc Motorsport has prepped and won championship races in Pro Rally, Gravel, Road and Ice competitions, which include GT, Formula, Showroom, and Sports Racers for three decades.
Miller was under major pressure by multiple seasoned, veteran drivers this season. Miller has used Hoosier Tires as his choice of competitive tires all season long, setting several lap records and one absolute, outright record at Autobahn Country Club in Joliet, IL. You can view this race HERE.
